The whole thing... by Sir George Frampton.
I've always liked J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan - the book, not the movies (though the first Walt Disney one was OK). J M Barrie was my grandmother's uncle, and he wrote Peter Pan in a house not 200 yards from where I now live.
This was only the second time I'd seen the statue. The first was in 1944, when I was just three, and I remember it to this day. The bronze, especially near the base where the fairies and rabbits are, is polished to a high shine by the petting of millions of sticky little hands, and my own, too.
